Grad Nite was just yesterday!
Wow! Its been 4 years already. 4 years of our lives spent in this secondary school. Gives me alot to think about. 4 years of work and play rolled together. 4 years of making friends and being classmates together. 4 years of education. Then Poof, Its over.
There is so much I am grateful for that cannot express in mere words alone. Memories both good and bad of my secondary school life flow before my very eyes as I type this few lines. It still feels like yesterday, which I just stepped into this school. A young 11 year old, still fresh from primary 6, unsure of all the new challenges to be faced in my comming secondary school years. Now, I keep thinking, Really? Have 4 years passed already? Where did all the time go?
I want to believe that these 4 years have been spent wonderfully studying, learning and usefully learning new things. But there are also other experiences, such as lessons in life. General Knowledge, a sizeable sum taught by Mr Seet, Mr Tan, Mdm Kamisah, Mrs Pang and Mrs Lim. Lessons in understanding, lessons in grooming and well-being. Lessons in how to live in a soceity like singapore. Lessons in responsiblity and leadership. Lessons in betrayal and trust. Lessons in People relation skills.
Seeing this I reassure myself that the 4 years in this school were not wasted.
Yesterday's Grad Nite was wonderful. I would like to thank the planning committee for a great job on their part. They were able to keep most of us entertained and well fed. I believe that the most emotional part of the Night was the part where we sung the school song for the last time. I remeber I used to dread singing it everyday or every monday. Now it seems so, so, so awark to sing it for the last time. Like I aaid I will miss all my teacher and friends and classmates and all the times we enjoyed or braved together. It proves the saying (you never treasure it till it is gone)
Peace forever! May our friendship never waiver!
