Burnt To Death

Yesterday' was my 1st day at work at a clothes departmental store. The store is in the city and since space is ex there the shop is small. Since the shoppe is small, stock is less and less troublesome to handle. I managed to get along quite well with the manager there and learned quite a few things from him. He is from myanmar. My co-worker is from Philippines. Also learned stuff from her.
But two things never changes when I change job.
1.The people there still use vulgarities. Such as the F word. "Food" "LOL". Hey I even learned how to curse a little bit in myanmise. Everyone has to curse and swear, even if them seem to be soo angelic. there are still some exceptional cases but those people have not shown themselves to me yet.
2.The people there still love to smoke. I do not know what compells them to smoke but they smoke. Like in my tv/cable job, people smoke, in my drinks selling job, people still smoke, in my current job, people still smoke. So what can I say, people just love to smoke. Even with the current increase in price of cigarettes people still smoke. Heck, the increase just encourage them to look for cheaper brands of cigarettes to smoke. Some even save money by doing so.
Just when I thought that I had mastered some of the pricings at the city branch. I was sent to help out at a neighbourhood branch. The branch is huge compared to my original branch. It contains 3 times the stock, 3 times the pressure to sell and 3 times the difficulty. Yeah and it is soo dam hot! My lips are cracking!
My original shoppe just has to fold the clothes, stack the clothes, and attract customers to buy stuff. In todae's work place. I have to sell 3 times the goods in the original + a membership card + One Dam Rooster. All that = Stress + Damnation. I also pack 3 times the goods, serve 3 times the customers and pack 15 times as much cause some passerby love to pinch the clothes but dun buy. In the original branch, I can put clothes on display and they will be tidy for at least 1 hour. Now I can put it there and it will come back untidy in 5 sec flat. Beat that quick setting nail polish!
Thankfully I am on loan to the neighbourhood branch for today. But I guess it is good experience. I have to learn to be fast and think faster. BTW I am selling the dam chicken bears for $9.50. U.P $12 Negotiation based on case by case basis. Please buy as it is for a good cause.
