Ah Nat Day!!!

What a week it has been. During that time, so many things happened, aww I’m not sure where to start. Perhaps I shall start it off with me being able to cope a whole day without glasses last Tuesday. Me glasses got damaged on Monday and I had to bring it in for repairs. Luckily, on Wednesday I got a new pair. My eyesight was not that bad to start with.
Can’t remember clearly what happened last week as so many things happened in such a short while of time. I do remember that on Friday the 7th month of the lunar calendar started. I still do not get why my classmates are obsessed with the soundtrack of the horror movie “The Maid.” Perhaps I should get it as well. Life can get so annoying when HR goes crazy; I guess that’s what makes life interesting.
Had a great weekend, managed to clear some of the content on my tapes, simply put I had either no interest or time to watch during normal school days. During that time I managed to put the finishing touches on the IMPULSE. Aww what a great sight it was. Went down to IKEA to sample their salmon, de-lish! On Monday, I visited Bugis to play pool and later I went to watch a movie with some of me old pals from Secondary. Charlie was quite a disappointment, I expected more. The scenery was very real; however, the actor’s actions and looks were not convincing. The music was also very nice, especially the singing of those short fellows, poor Roy Deep, had to act out so many scenes.
On Tuesday, I got rather badly sunned. Reached school rather late, then took a bus all the way down to Marina South. We reached there at about 2 and we sat there under the blistering heat for the whole day. We started the record attempt at 2.45pm, then had several rehearsals for the celebrations later on. I still do not get who the privileged group that got those poppers and the host of the show to stand by them. I don’t think there were deaf either. After that the celebrations started at 5 and went on till 9, I scanned my student card and left for home.
What a day! After reaching home, I discovered that I was a very light shade of the Singapore flag. And my left side is darker than my right considering my left was facing the sun more. I hope the skin heals soon!
