Great The Holidays Are; Last Week Already??!!

Woop. I’m back from the 2 week hiatus. I wanted to blog but I was too lazy to. I’d rather have 2 weeks with minimal computer usage and replace that time spent with some rest. Since it’s the last week, I have decided to write again.
Let’s begin with the 3rd week; I can’t seem to remember clearly what happened during the 2nd week. Well, I had quite a nice Moon Cake Festival, 2 Birthdays to celebrate + Moon Cake Festival. I must say Moon Cakes are getting better every year; however the prices are getting steeper too! I visited my friend’s house for Moon cake festival and his mum make a scrumptious moon cake, and his games added to the fun.
Went to Pulau Tekong last Wednesday, went there on a school excursion; I went for the CE points but also took note of the things that NS men did. It was fantastic compared to the image I had in mind. I was expecting 1 story huts, but there stood a huge resort like building before my eyes. It was terribly different from what I expected. Meanwhile it might not be a simple resort stay; I must say that the NS recruits nowadays are treated quite well in terms of living conditions. I felt that the Qn and Ans session was a terrible time. Instead of the usual questions about NS, people asked questions about accepting NS men who weren’t straight, whether the camp was haunted, and the love lives of people in the army. I would comment something but I am rather lost for words so I’ll reserve them.
Friday was another fun day. I went down to buy my friend a long overdue Birthday gift. Cynically the gift was confiscated shortly after it was bought due to it being his exam period. He has my sympathy, lol. Some time after buying the gift I watched a movie. I think it’s called a sound of thunder. Boom, ironically there was not a thunder clap to be heard in the movie, more time travel and the effects of changing it. Quite interesting, but I have the feeling that the outcome of the movie was expected. DOTA!!
I went out for the second screening interview last Sunday. Apparently a job as a warehouse assistant also takes up a rather high requirement. Hopefully I can get the job and keep it for a while.
Going for a picnic tomorrow! Sandwiches and old friends! The seaside! I believe it will be fun!
