Soggy Feet, Wet Day 08-01-06

Ah, my feet hurt and my blisters have blisters. It’s due to this wonderful weather. I can’t curse it because it allowed me to take a good rest and let me feel sleepy all day. I cannot love it because the rain has made my day not so sunny.
The wet day continued from early in the morning I think it was 4 am till now 9pm. It’s been a rather mixed day of sorts. Started my day with a Milo and Nasi Lemak, then followed by a few episodes of anime (I love InuYasha + Kids Central [Gundam Seed Destiny]). Followed by a taking apart of my desktop and breaking a wire off the computer fan by accident. After that I got lunch.
Then I went to work, this time the rain was still pouring cats and dogs. I am amazed how I still retain some similes than I used in the past during essay writing. My stupid black shoes were so irritating. They allowed water to pass through the bottom. It didn’t do that when I bought it 3 months ago. Its sole is so bad that it gives me very little traction over wet floors compared to other shoes. So when I arrived at work my feet were soaking wet, along with my socks. Now you can imagine that after close to 6 hours at work walking around, your feet will soon get blisters considering the wetness of your feet.
My work let me off at 6. It was still raining heavily at the park and there were no visitors. I then went to meet my friends for a game of pool and dinner right after work despite my soggy feet. After pool and dinner, they wanted to go arcade so I followed. After which I got tired and went home to discover my soggy feet and developed blisters and that I cannot wear my shoes to school tomorrow. Guess I’ll have to wear sandals then.
This must be the wettest day of the year.
