A day out to see the sun-set

It started at City Hall; I met you there at BK.
You ate your fries; I looked into your eyes to see some excitement there.
Off we went down to the bookstore, to find a book to help you worry no more.
At Robinsons we watched the toys aplenty, yet could never receive that many.
We walked to Sun Tec mall, to find something we could devour.
On our way to the shop, we talked a tale or two maybe more.
A simple twist and click, we found ourselves at Carrefour.
Upon buying our drinks, we explored further and more to find something we adored.
We saw Videos, CDs, Toys and more.
I want to thank you for the tile and more.
A walk in the sky gardens to see the fountain.
Thoughts through mountains seek direction.
The lead went on to Marina Square, to find something we thought was there.
A simple turn and quick response, we figured out where was where.
We followed the lead down to Esplanade.
I heard the waves and theatres there.
We continued on and discussed there, the many things we had to fare.
The worries faced and preventions placed, will probably still be there.
The sun set quickly and clouds were heavy.
We saw little of our friend.
Our walk by the river, thought through time.
I wanted that moment to go on forever.
A stop by a food place, a quick bite took place.
Lethargic and full, we continued at our leisurely pace.
To Funan we went, bought a shake of milk.
More chats on fun things, an acting of an Xbox.
A walk back to the river, to shake us free from shivers.
On the Singapore River, it is our place to wander.
We wandered through the eateries there.
Only to find we were nowhere.
A detour to the fountain there, a picture set in hearts out there.
MOS looked cool, but we did not enter.
On our return, came the end of a trip.
I enjoyed myself as always, thinking, seeing and being with you.
As the train comes, I feel compelled to stay.
As we part, a passing peck misses its mark.
I apologise for some rather bad literature. It was what I came up with in a short instant. I apologise for a botched up farewell. Hope to see you again. I hope you aren’t angry. It’s an outing to be remembered.
It’s a Sunny, Hot Day.
Have fun in the sun.
Hope you had fun too, thinking fondly of you.
