An I.T Show, Both Virtual and Reality

Today I got some real treats. One from Chris and another from the IT Show at Sun Tec. I started the day at 9.30am. I woke up and ate Prata for breakfast. Then I set up my external hard disk for my dad and evacuated my desk.

He came back from his exercise, took a long time to set everything up, and then went off for a bath. Meanwhile, I went off to pack up some untidy stuff and get ready to go I.T show. Dad came out and checked his backup, and then he went off to tape his shows, before we got out of the house. It makes me so mad to have a mad rush out of the house.

I met Leo at the IT show, yahoo, at least someone to come have a look at stuff. Pity he doesn’t seem very interested; he came yesterday. This was the I.T show in reality; I only saw the new Epson Printers and the Apple products. Anyway, I needed to go home and get my stuff ready for cell later; dad wanted me to carry the printer home. How does one carry a printer in a taxi? I just shove the dam thing inside a taxi and bring it home, I don’t need make another trip home grab my stuff and run.

Ate some very nice XO HOR FUN, and then went home in a taxi with the BIG printer. I took my bag and scrambled out of the house, but was delayed by dad. Dad wanted me to troubleshoot my hard disc. I wanted to run, but I felt guilty of not spending enough time around the house. So I helped, and one task leads to another. I came 1 hr late (Leo came at 2.30 when we were to meet at 3, I came at 3.30) at red hill; Leo was not happy.

Turns out, TCT was quite nearby after all. I might have been here before, on my way along the road. We saw the Virtual Chris! Yahoo! Chris was busy so he left us a DVD of himself. I brought my laptop for nothing as there was a DVD player on site. We sang, we prayed, we thought. Chris always leaves us with a thought in mind; it’s almost magical. It’s magical what God does with the leaders of his people.

After the cell, we went for dinner. I ate HOKKEIN MEE; the other guys ate Chicken Rice and BA KU TEH. We waited for our sisters after the meal. (I didn’t know it took that long) After a long and vain wait, we waited no longer and returned home, cancelling our game appointment.

I’m very thankful to you, whom keep by my side. It brightens my heart to know that you care for me. Yet it pains me to show a different, unwanted side of me to you. I see you and yet cannot speak. I miss you.

It’s the 4th golden jubilation. This is the 200th post. But it is such a sad way to celebrate it.
Maybe this uncertainty is a curse brought down by thinking what I needed God for. I know the answer, and yet I asked. I really should not have. Forgive me. I need to sort out my thoughts.

Going cycling tomorrow, hopefully I can see the sun rise and my hopes rise with it. After all, tomorrow is a day of hope. Pastor Khong said so himself. I think.
