Life Cycle of the Morning Sun
Author: Jeneral // Category:
This is a morning post. I rarely post in the morning.
6.15 – Woke up
6.45 – Out of house to do some cycling
6.50 – Reaches PR Park
7.00 – Reaches PR Beach Park Centre
7.15 – Found a place to sit down and admire the coast
7.20 – Sun peaks out from behind clouds
7.28 – Sun shines in full glory before me
7.30 – Begins a short pre prayer
7.32 – Prayer starts
7.40 – Prayer ends and sun starts to burn my bum
7.45 – Finish watching sun rise and start cycle back
After that I went met with dad and grandma and went for a walk in the park. After the walk we went for breakfast. Then we finally went home.
During my cycle in the park, I saw many tents all over the place. There were so many people camping on the coast that I have no place to even sit down and watch the sea and wait for sun rise. When, I cycled till the end of the park, I still saw no place to sit so I cycled back to the centre. It was like I chased the sun and now the sun was chasing me.
I finally found a deserted spot (except for another cyclist) by the bridge for me to sit down and watch the sea and wait for the sunrise. The whole sky was cloudy and quite bright already; I was beginning to wonder if the sun would not show itself today. The sun did not disappoint me, it was like “You who have craved me all night, I shall work my wonder and blast through this clouds and show you my might.” There the sun rose, above the clouds, bringing with it a new hope.
While I could not think of much, I felt God’s presence with me. I prayed for my loved ones, my family, my spiritual family, my girl, my friends, the church and all the people I was going to meet and have met. Then I realised that several other people had joined me on the rock. There were some fishermen, an elderly couple and the cyclist who was originally there.
The elderly couple was having some stretching exercise combined with a massage, my thoughts wandered to a princess who had a backache the other time when she carried something too heavy. I hope she doesn’t strain herself again when she moves some stuff around tomorrow.
Thank God for his calm and confidence in me. I feel much more like myself again.
Miss you princess.
