Happy Easter & Good Friday

It has been some time. Therefore before I continue; I want to wish all a Good Friday and Happy Easter.
It is going to be another one of those long posts. But I really need to have some output somewhere and polish my writing skills. I've been away the past week. I went to visit my grandparent’s house. It has been a week of family, fun and food.
Monday
I arrived early in the morning. 6 am. Apparently my transport was early and my grandparent's place was blacked out. They could not leave the house in the dark. Gave them a call and sat by the bus stand waiting for them. Amazingly at 6 in the morning, a guy tried to sell me fake watches. 6am!
We bought some Chee Chiong Fun and went home to eat. I met baby Ru. She is certainly much bigger than I last saw her. Babies grow at stunning rates. After breakfast I went to play with her, carry her around the house and walked around. She is quite the hardy baby and very sweet, she allows me to carry her and coos when she enjoys it. I ate Char Kway Teow for lunch and Roti Bomb and Satay for dinner.
Tuesday
I went out in the morning to buy my aunt some flowers. It was her birthday! I went out with them to meet some relatives; they all loved the baby and played with her. I managed to chat with an uncle who was from Melbourne. Wow. I ate some Chicken Kapitan, bean curd and sotong. In the evening, we celebrated my aunt's birthday at a steak restaurant, ordered pinto Nachos and some Chilli Con Carn. Apparently, it didn't go too well with my stomach. I had an upset stomach for the rest of the 3rd day. The Teriyaki Steak and coke float was good.
Wednesday
Stomach-ache! But I managed to scramble out of the house for a short morning walk up the hill. I went down to central market to get some gifts for LOL and SJS Gang. People stare at me, wondering if I am the very young father of the little baby in the stroller. It's my aunt's I reply; they go "OOO." But I enjoy little Ru's company, she is certainly an outing baby; she follows her mum almost everywhere. Ate beef ball noodles for lunch and had A&W for tea.
Thursday
I woke up early for morning walk. I brought Ru up to the peak of a nearby hill and walked her down again. The little baby sure enjoys fresh air. We went down to Carrefour. I ate KFC and bought myself a Birthday Present! I got a new DVD. Pity no time to watch currently. I ate in again and caught Sakura Wars.
Friday
I woke up early this morning, to fetch my dad, mum and brother from the transport station. Then we proceeded to get some Nasi Lemak for breakfast. We went together as a whole family to Mr. Goh’s for lunch, I had a steak. The afternoon was spent gathering things for the long walk the day after. It rained like always on a Good Friday afternoon; the day which Jesus died for our sins, paying the ultimate price of blood for us to be redeemed. We ate at Ming Kee’s in the evening, some bone king pork, deer meet, egg, veggie and crab.
Saturday
Went down early in the morning to qing ming. We went to the cemetery and burned the offerings to our ancestors and went down to the actual grave to burn more offerings. It went along very quickly; the tall grass was cut already and the grave relatively clean. We quickly did it and went home. Met up with another aunt for lunch, I had pasta, then went to her home to play civilisation 4. I want to install it on my home com, but I do not think it supports. We ate dinner out, had steamed egg, some beans, tofu with minced meat and bone king pork again. Then we ate some hokkien style noodles, think something was not too clean about it, I suffered a stomach-ache again.
Sunday
I went to church in the morning. The cross is a symbol of our salvation, a constant reminder to what Jesus had done for us and it represents our hopes, our dreams and our future. After the service, I still had a stomach upset. After that I travelled home; thinking of a short Easter SMS.
Happy Easter, Remember this as the day Jesus rose along with all our hopes, dreams and promises. All because he died for us so we may rise up with him as he did.
I miss little Ru and Garnet too!
Wonder when I will see them again.
I think of them constantly.
Hopes to see both of you soon.
