I just went for the IPBMS (International Program for Bio Medical Sciences) course briefing on Saturday. It was found out that the Monash degree that I am aiming for is an expensive 55.5K medical degree compared to a science degree.
The good thing is that it is a short time compared to other degrees and if they send me a confirmation letter by 2nd sem year 3, I’ve got an confirmed place in Monash. The bad thing is that there is no rest for me as I will always be overloading on modules, always trying to cram information, going for an expensive course and going to a foreign environment.
I met SY & SQ, SY got me a new mouse! Wee, later that evening when I got home, I had a game with them over the internet and I think it was the first time my kills reached beyond 20.
I went with Garnet to Cass’s concert on Friday! Cass concert was an 1 hr concert, which highlights were the guitar and song, one of the ending songs by both the males and female choir members, the Lion sleeps tonight and lastly the male choir member’s song. It was quite good, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Go Cass Go!
Gave Chris, Joy & Guo Wei a card each, Keelin didn’t come. Sigh, only got an response from 2 of them, Ah Pa didn’t even say thanks or follow up with an sms. T_T. I guess it’s alright, I read on a friend’s nick, if you don’t ask for much, you won’t know how much you lose. I don’t ask for much, just a simple life – led for God, a caring loving gf, a happy family, a united spiritual family a stable studies/work foundation, a few good friends. Is that too much to ask? Will I lose more if I don’t ask for more? I will never know.
