Now Playing In Head: She's The One - Robbie Williams
As the title suggests, I was almost knocked downed by a car yesterday. I was East Coast Park after word encounter, celebrating my older spiritual brother Chris's birthday with the entire spiritual family (most of them at least). We had lots of fun, Thanks to Guo Wei and other organisers and everyone who helped out in some way or another. I believe the highlight of the night has to be Lynnet & James taking a bath in the Surfing Lagoon.
After I left the entire crowd at the carpark, apparantly nobody wanted to go home with me or they all lived in the West, North & Central. I walked along one of the side roads to a bus stop only to find that I didn't know any of the buses there. Already feeling lonely, I called for God's presence to keep me company. At the same time, I called Joy for some bearings on where was the nearest bus home. She told me further up from the Lagoon @ Bedok Jetty had a bus stop which I could ride a bus home. I thanked her and walked along the road (not pavement), being dark and tired from the celebration, I didn't see a twig on the floor and stepped on it, resulting in myself slipping in front of a car. I scrambled out of the way just in time, (I was wearing black, one of the rare times I wear a black shirt, doubt the driver saw me.)
Thanked God I was still alive and walked along the road till I finally reached the underpass. Went to the other side only to find that I ended up on Landed Property and didn't have any keys to the door, I didn't know I could follow the dark trail along all the way to finally meet the main road later. I only found out when I managed to walk 1/2 the length of East Coast Park to finally reach somewhere near Mc D and crossed the under/over (can't remember, I'm lost!) pass and kept walking till I reached the main road. I guess it was a training of perserverance in the Lord when I'm all alone.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday had Sanctification week experience.
Refreshed by the spirit and learnt more about God's Heart!
One more thing, Never attempt to take 960 from Woodlands if you want to go Marine Parade, it would take forever, be smart, take 966.
Pon School on Friday! Orhhhhhhh, I've been a bad boy. Well, I took the day off to follow my friend Mai down to Fujitsu to fix his computer. After we sent his computer down for repairs, we met up with Tsing, Benji & Michael to go down to Funnan area to look around at Guitars, after that we went into Funnan and followed Michael as he looked for a computer. We saw the launch of Windows Vista, very expensive. Following that I followed them down to Bras Bhasa complex to look at Guitars again, I'm tempted I want a Guitar myself with a starter kit! There were some on sale from $80 onwards...
But I don't have enough time to write a blog post, yet alone play and practice Guitar everyday. Sighs. My Life...
