It's been quite a good first week back for me.
I managed to spend more time with my princess, walking her to school, meeting for lunch and walking back to the interchange, on Monday & Tuesday & Thursday.
Wednesdays I walked her back the interchange after her FYP and went with her down to City Hall for dinner before sending her off to the MRT Station.
Thursday I had my very first driving practical. The instructor was a motorcycle instructor, but very nice man. He taught me how the basics of the car and adjustment of seats and mirrors.
Then it got serious and I started to drive back and forth, when I got confident, he took me out on the circuit where I learned cornering. The value added point was that I was able to go to 2nd gear. It was just plain fun!
Today, just in class, the Minister of Education came for a visit! I was like, oh wow. He was treated like a total celebrity, we had our classroom painted, air freshened, and class was totally clean, dustbins were emptied of all things too. Food was restricted in the area and security guard checked if anything was wrong...
He came, he asked us questions regarding to our study in RP. He was very tall, rather dark, and ... hmm. Let's leave it there. There was also lots of water delivered to our class for him to drink. In the end, I plucked up courage to ask him for a class photo. He gladly obliged, the only problem now is that the photographer is nowhere to be found. Ha-ha
A few days of excitement followed by toiling in our FYP reports and mugging for advanced theory. What a week! Thank God!
