Open House and Crippled Computer

The open house today was rather tiring. I led quite a few tours and even did the silly cheer. I must say, it was quite unexpected. The weather today was warm and cloudy. The turnout there was quite disappointing, I expected more, the guests were not very sporting, and they did not want guides. Later a large number of guests were lost and needed directions to where to go. I saw quite a few friends there today. I guess Open Houses are meant to be big affairs where mass numbers of students turn up to help and to tour the place.
I hate interference, especially when I am doing crucial things like backup. My computer has a lot of unknown shell extensions recently. I though the best way was to bring back my image of the original computer from April when I bought it.
Terrible to say and even worse to do, I believed in the false hope that I had a working backup. Currently I have 5 worthless pass encoded disc. They are essential to the survival of my computer, yet I have it locked up. I hate it when irresponsible action done by other people cause me unneeded grief.
Lucky the computer does not crash. The Desktop came first, and now this happens? What is the world up to?
