Taught to argue, built to observe

Being taught about different identities was certainly interesting. Now I know the reason for my compulsion to keep my online identity and personal identity separate. I believe both live different lifestyles, very different and yet very similar. The best identity is an influx of online and offline identities to be know as the ultimate and true identity. This is most of the time unachievable.
Today we were taught the fundamentals of arguments. I think what helped was what I was taught in secondary school; argumentative and expository essays. This allowed me some foothold into today’s lesson. We learned about the difference in summarising and creating an analysis. Then we went on to add an argumentative style debate. Fortunately our team was pretty good today; I did not have to worry too much.
In fact we had finished all in time to create a game and play. Then immediately after, we went to present. The entire class presentation took 20 minutes. The questioning took 40+ minutes since it went round and round. I excel more at the observation bit, I don’t quite argue on my feet, it takes time to formulate a good offence and defence.
That reminds me, I must work harder, I will keep changing, and keep myself updated and adapt to circumstances. I must try be more aware, to be able to keep myself interesting and fresh. To win your heart that is my desire, to hold your hand might be a dream, to say further is, well, jumping the gun, but I will try my best. Trust in me!
