Valentine’s Day 2006-02-14

Another year, it has come to the festival where people take their girlfriends, wives and friends out to celebrate. It’s the time of the year where prices of roses are jacked up and whatever gifts you see on sale is at least a quarter higher than its usual selling price. Those money hungry business people waiting for your cash.
It was certainly a pleasant surprise. I had not expected such a reaction at all. I was hoping for but certainly did not expect. In fact, it could be due to a combination of excitement over the matter and a overdose of coffee that left me unable to sleep the night before. My heart beats quickly and suddenly at that simple thought.
The day before, as soon as I finished presenting, I left for a job interview down towards Toh Tuck Road. The place was rather far but nonetheless, my classmates and I made it there in time along by catching a cab there. The interview was just a briefing and I missed a Java workshop just for it. After which, I left with SY for Orchard, where we played LAN for 2 hrs before going home.
It has been quite a quiet Valentine’s Day, after my Java workshop after school where we learned to use String, Boolean and Integers, I left to meet my mum to pick up some photos. Treated my mum to dinner, we had fish. That’s the end of this quiet Valentine’s Day.
Thinking of you...
