No Sushi for the Work.

I worked today. Not by choice. Threats work sometimes. Tricks also work pretty well. But nothing works when you absolutely are against it.
I checked my schedule; I wasn’t due to work today at all. I was sort of tricked to work when they said that the schedule had been set already and the supervisor had gone home already. Actually the sup was still there, just beside the phone. So since I my meeting was late afternoon, I just went to work.
There was a huge crowd there. Come to Escape Theme Park ah, $4 only, limited time only, works only with coupon. They came in droves and yet expected some fantastic service. I mean how demanding can you be when you paid only $4 for you rides. The park was packed, I think the capacity was only about 300 but I think we hit 600+. The queue lines were super long and guests were tired, frustrated and angry. Just imagine the crew facing 300++ of those lousy ingrates we call customers.
I told my main supervisor I would quit. He said he needed manpower and wanted to settle this after the school holidays, so my so called last day dragged and dragged. I was expected to work one more day. Originally that day would be Sunday, but it conflicted with church. I thought: “God would forgive me and understand if I did not come to church one day to settle 1 thing that will enable me to attend church more in the future.”
They called me later that evening when I was out with SY and Kian Eng. I was having a catch up session with them. Originally was supposed to watch movie, but we could not decide so we skipped movie and went for dinner and LAN gaming. Originally to have LAN gaming but the arcade was full so we opted for pool instead. Had a fun game, I lost all my matches against SY, but at least I had fun.
Yeah, so they called me later that evening and asked if I wanted to work tomorrow morning. I jumped at the opportunity since G12 was at 6pm, so I could afford to work tomorrow morning as my last day and free up Sunday. I only hope they keep to their word and set me free on Sunday. This means I cannot go Sakae Sushi to eat with Cell group. They eating at 2.45pm, I release at 3.30pm. Student offers $13.90, buffet and starts at 3pm. I’m fasted this evening for nothing. *Sad.
