Vesak Week 2006

It has been a long week for me. I actually get to enjoy a day with my family and get sufficient sleep and rest. Wow. That is certainly rare nowadays.
Monday was genetics. There was a camera in class. It gave me the jitters. I hope I explained everything well, 5 seconds of fame anyone?
Tuesday, I met my ex-colleague from Escape. He is now working in the immigration. We joked, that I might visit him next time, he replied he would check me if he saw me visiting. We both laughed. That short segment was one of the brighter parts of the day. We suffered under Agent Orange and benzene rings, they were quite heavy topics. The second brighter part was lunch; I met up with Nijo and Angie. It is starting to be rare to even see Leo around. If you are reading it, Thanks guys! LOL adds to the motivation to soar in my studies.
Wednesday was spent with enzymes in biochemistry. I can safely say that was one of my favourite topics in biology. It was quite breezy; I hope I can blow through with flying colours. Furthermore, I really participated to make sure I don’t get that C again this week. I visited Garnet later in the evening. She went for some lecture earlier; I hope I didn’t crash her plans. We took a bus and visited Yishun, no idea why we chose that place in particular. I don’t want to lose you, but even as we take this trial of faith. Remember that the Lord is with you and so am I. Have faith that we will make it through well.
I took a bus all the way down to Eunos. I ended up late as the bus took a winding route and dropped me off on the other side of Eunos. After cell, I was left with several thoughts; I really have to realise that step of faith was more than just a step. I started with a step, there is a whole road for me and I as I walk this road with you Father, come bless every step. I need to drop indifference, be totally on the side of the Father and be definite and not dual minded. Like Jesus who paid the price for our lives, we also have a cost to pay, everything ours. Consider the factors of what we do, so we may end it well. Be faithful, faithlessness is a sin, for when we do not believe in what we do, we walk away from our path and open the door to doubt.
Thursday was about frogs and muscles. Anatomy was rather interesting. We had to present the content to 8 year olds and scale down the level of complexity without compromising the content. I had lunch with LOL again. Leo is missing again. You all really add a smile to my world, squabbling like siblings, over spilt honey. Being so stressed, I could only smile. Btw Angie was that you I saw in that lift going down after school? Wonder what is she doing in my block? I am a curious LOL member.
Friday @ home. Haha, not a chance, I woke up late, but went down to Sim Lim to see if they could fix the old laptop of my dad. We were not able to, but dad still bought a external HD there. Slept in the afternoon, ah, bliss. Woke up and went down to Changi again, we ate butter prawns, asam fish, some meat bone king, bean sprouts and tofu. Dessert was apple crumble and chocolate cake. All this was done in anticipation of mother’s day. After this weekend, I might be more broke than before.
