Today, I finally managed to go to the beach with Garnet. So happy! This little outing seemed to have been postponed for 3 weeks already. We met at the harbour front before going for a quick shopping trip to buy some food and water before taking a $3 bus ride over the isle of Sentosa.
There we stopped at underwater world but did not go in. instead we went down to Siloso beach for a quick lunch under the hot noon sun. We sat under a beach umbrella enjoying the shade, the breeze and the sun & sea. There my princess quickly finished her burger and we sat under the shade for a little while longer, reluctant to move in the heat of the day.
As quick as lightning, storm clouds rolled in and we hurried back to underwater world before changing direction and headed for the beach. We were going to try enjoying the beach before it rained and we managed to have many short rounds of splashing water, diving around and just simply floating about before it rained. During the short rain, we went to wash up and sat by eating the food and drink we brought for the picnic and after finishing we went home.
Princess sent me home, how sweet. I hope she does not fall asleep on her way back. In the meanwhile, it was a wonderful relaxing day at the beach for us. Hope there is many more days like that to come. :)
