Now Playing In Head: LeAnn Rimes - I Need You

I just recently finished my gig at the Magic Box on Saturday. It was a very fun performance. Although none of my classmates in poly turned up, 3 of my friends did to support me. I played the keyboard after 2 weeks of intensive practices; no I did not have much prior experience when playing the keyboard. Sadly they left after dinner to play LAN, nonetheless they have been very kind to turn up and support me already and I am extremely grateful.

The whole experience has been a journey for me, just trusting Father for the lives that will come for the event and miracle Sunday, having faith in his mercy that he will keep me through my busy week, drawing upon his grace that I was not stressed when it was time to perform on stage, showing magic tricks, engaging friends and even the school week which was very stressful and tiring. Making time to come down and practice everyday has not been a pleasant times especially the negotiations with my parents.

Sunday’s service was alright, did not catch too much but the magic and the Paradise band was good. I was quite disappointed when I saw some of my bros and sis having the band album. Upon asking, I was surprised only to discover that my spiritual parents gave it to them. My first impression was that the disc was a nice worship medium and that those who received were more special and had done a lot to deserve a nice gift. That quickly changed to disgust at something that I should have to earn. I ended up feeling hatred at those round pieces of flimsy plastic which contained songs. Great that Angie’ friend came for service. I felt that if I knew God’s word better, I would not hate so much.

I went out with my princess for our first outing in 2 weeks. Honestly I felt very happy when Garnet shared more about her past and she did so with such openness. I’m just really blessed to have her and want to be there to look after her. After our chat, we went off to eat at Mac. We ordered a student meal with upsize to celebrate. It was really fun. I am going to try to encourage the poor girl through her 3 months ahead, filled with a busy school term, tiring practices and several performances. I want to be the secondary pillar of support for her.

Lord, I claim the ground which I stand on as yours, let your blessings flow and use me to enrich the land with your goodness, that I may bring forth a great golden harvest into your kingdom. Father you know my heart, and I pray for your spirit to speak to me, bless me and keep me safe from harm and free from all pain.
