On a faraway expedition to the center of the Spore.
I met a special princess who was sleeping on the stairs (I think she was waiting for some prince but he hasn't come yet so she decided to go out with me instead)
When we finally reached the top of the stairs, we discovered a machine that led downwards, this time, to a different place. I only hoped it wasn't the dungeon.
We took this stair machine which moved automatically downwards and arrived at a place called Doughnut Factory. There we saw dough after dough, falling into a vat of oil, bubbling and turning brown, before being whisked away by the people there to fill with all sorts of wonderful dressings.
We braved the queue for an hour and half and finally bought us a dozen of these circular fried delights.
After obtaining the golden brown circular flour based pastry, we ventured forth into the unknown, finally stopping at a shop known as the soup spoon to adjorn for lunch. I ordered a Golash for myself and a Mushroom Soup for her highness and while we slowly enjoyed the simple soup, we watched others gourge themselves on the soup of the day. After we finished, we walked off to find other activities which would quench our curiousity. Leaving the place, I bought her highness a little souvenir, Josh Groban's new album - AWAKE from Sebawang.
We journeyed around the place, looking for a place to rest and enjoy some desserts in the opressive heat. Finally, we settled for Marina Food Loft eating Orh Nee and Honeydew Melon with Sago. Finally after eating them, I brought the princess back down to where we started and sent her on the extend chariot known only as MRT and sat one myself, bringing me home.
The day before, I just went to the Family Internation Restaurant for a buffet. Gosh, the nuggets, chawamushi, siew mai, dao sar pau, sashimi, salad, chicken chop, lamp chop, satay, chicken sausages, sea food, shark fin and black chicken herbal soups were very filling. I really need to work those extra pounds off. Including the ice cream & fruits that I ate after the meal.
