Today, Garnet dropped me an sms when I was visiting my aunt somewhere off Novena, told me I was in top 5% of my Semester! Woo! What an excellent suprise! My beautiful princess also got in! Hurray!
Mum brought my aunt and I down to Velocity (its a shopping center beside Novena Square). We ate at Hunan Dim Sum restaurant which suprisingly had no Dim Sum of the normal kind. All of the food there were rather unique and quite pricey, I must say. Nonetheless, the Hong Kong style noodles, yam cake, Char Siew Pau and Pandan wrapped Glutinous Rice With Pork Floss was quite a splendid choice of dishes.
It got quite scary when my aunt decided to ask, hey boy, you have girlfriend or not? Sadly, the more obivous answer given would be "No." I wouldn't want a bombardment of questions right there and then. It also got rather cute, the way my aunt gets forgetful and starts repeating herself. Inviting me to her house to see my 2 female cousins, one whom is 20 this year, the other whom is 13. Haha, the tone in her voice was slightly suggestive, come meet your 2 GIRL cousins. Bwah haha. Oh well, when it comes to female cousins, I've alot, trust me.
My dad was estatic at my results. I don't recall him being so happy in a long while. Somehow, don't you think that your parents seem to love seeing you excel? That your grades mean more to them than to yourself? Always the case, even with my father in heaven, I know he is pleased. Especially when I follow in his ways.
I got cheated at dinner. I met SY, Yani & her bf Alex at Tamp Mrt at 730, we went down to this chinese ramen restaurant in century square. There everyone ordered their own dishes and in addition, they ordered more side dishes, my portion came up to $13, $7 on my dish and $6 worth of shared side dishes. Too ex for my taste. Nonetheless, it was a celebration for Yani who had passed all her retaken O's subjects.
Yet to receive news from my JC friends. Ganbatte people!
